Actor/Rapper Chris La Vrar spoke to TMZ in regards to the passing of his friend Tommy ‘Tiny’ Lister.
La Vrar stated that he was with Lister on Monday at his home in Marina del Rey. Lister was recording a live stream video session with fans doing some Q&A. Part of the session was posted on social media and it’s very clear that Lister wasn’t in good health.

In the video, it’s clear that Lister is having trouble breathing, and at some points, Lister can be seen nodding off during various points of the chat. Lister still did the best that he could and still engaged with his fans as best as he could.
La Vrar however was very concerned for his friend, stating that Lister was coughing non-stop. When Chris asked if he needed to go to a doctor, Lister responded with:
“No, God’s got me.”
It was reported that Lister contracted and beat COVID 4 months ago. La Vrar had been hanging out with Lister for a few hours on Monday and stated that he is very concerned for his own health and plans to get tested as soon as possible.
Lister was 62.
