Earlier this month Ryan Edwards and his family announced that they wouldn’t be returning to the cameras of Teen Mom OG, as they were allegedly fired from the program.
Fans were quick to assume that Maci Bookout had a lot to do with the firing (Ryan would also state this), and they probably aren’t wrong. While on the podcast Baby Mamas No Drama, Bookout expressed her desire to continue with the program.

She would go on to admit that the show “opens her eyes to her” in regards to what she needs to work on as well as what she needs to face within herself. Stating that the show was a good reflective tool that most people don’t have.
I mean…whatever helps you sleep at night.
She would also defend the show’s antics for how they portrayed the children of the show:
“I feel like production does a good job of navigating around the children. If the kids don’t want to film, they’re not going to film. As long as we can continue to navigate that and the other positives are happening, I don’t see a reason to leave the show but that doesn’t mean that one won’t arise. It’s definitely season by season.”
Maci didn’t touch upon Ryan and his parent’s termination.
