It’s no surprise, but Mackenzie Mckee is far from popular. In fact, she’s never really been popular, and her recent comments on Vice President Kamala Harris have really done it for fans.
In January 2021, Mackenzie posted the following on her Facebook in regards to Harris:
“Sorry, no. There are a lot of amazing women in the world for my daughters to look up to and see as role models. Kamala Harris is not one of them.”
She would also leave this as a comment who supported her:
“It blows my mind that out of all the amazing colored women in this world, that is the one who is making history.”
The comments were not received lightly amongst fans, to the point where they are now demanding her termination from the “Teen Mom” franchise.
As you all know, Mackenzie has been with the show for a very long time, appearing in Teen Mom OG, Teen Mom 2, Teen Mom 3. Mackenzie started it all with 16 and Pregnant. On April 24th, Mackenzie would take to Instagram Live to touch upon the manner and essentially try to clear her name. During the Live event, she brought up cancel culture as well as her declining relationship with Cheyenne Floyd (who did not take the comments lightly).
She would also state the following in terms of her potential firing:
“[MTV] didn’t want to squash it right then and there because they wanted it to be part of the show, and this is what you will see next Tuesday.”
