Cheyenne Floyd’s Ex-Cory Wharton is leaving for The Challenge. And while his departure is major for Cheyenne, she’s alright with it.
On the most recent episode of Teen Mom OG Cory Wharton revealed that he received the call to do another season of The Challenge, this is major for the two seeing as Cory could be away from his family for months as he films the MTV series.
Cory brought this news to light as their daughter Ryder experienced a medical emergency.
Cheyenne’s main concern of Cory leaving for the MTV show’s 36th season came from the medical concerns surrounding Ryder. Ryder was recently admitted to the hospital for a fever, as she, unfortunately, deals with a rare illness called VLCAD.
Cory said that despite the distance he would return if Ryder ever needed him.
Wharton elaborated on the matter, stating that he was excited about going to The Challenge but he wanted to ensure that she felt comfortable with his decision. Cheyenne’s had this to say:
“So, you could be gone for potentially three months during a pandemic, during Covid, to leave me and Ryder all alone.”
Cory responded stating that he was excited for the opportunity during a pandemic, remarking that he knew a lot of people didn’t have work at the moment and that he was very thankful that he did.
Cheyenne would answer:
“It is a pandemic and you are very blessed to have an opportunity to go and work and make some money.”
She would also say that she was happy to see him perform compete and that overall it was a good idea, pandemic or not.
Cory would then tell Ryder, in which Ryder would remark that she was happy that her father was going on the show and said that when she grew up she wanted to compete on the show.
In lighter news, Cheyenne showed her growing baby bump (at 22 weeks) off in a gray bra to her fans.
In the footage on her Instagram, she talked about a new giveaway she was running.
