Singer Ann Marie Arrested in Connection with Shooting in Georgia Hotel Room

Ann Marie was involved with the shooting of her childhood friend on December 1st


R&B Singer Ann Marie was arrested on Wednesday and booked for possession of a firearm and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

On December 1st, Marie was involved in a potential shooting that left her childhood friend Jonathon Wright in critical condition with a bullet wound to the head.

Atlanta cops arrived at an InterContinental in Buckhead on December 1st to find Ann Marie in hysterics over the shooting. Policed sated that Wright was shot in the head with the entrance wound being on his forehead and the exit wound being on his left temple. Despite the horrifying damages, Wright remained conscious and was still able to answer questions.

Reports state that Marie was hysterical when cops arrived but she was unable to produce any tears. Marie stated that the gun had fallen off the table and went off, striking Wright in the head. Cops found two shell casings inside the hotel room and two projectiles. Reports also state that there was a bullet hole in the door jam and another in a cabinet.

Wright was transported to a hospital where he remains in critical condition.
