Floyd Mayweather Jr. has just agreed to return to the ring for an exhibition match against YouTube star Logan Paul.
Floyd (43) had retired back in 2017 after defeating UFC Fighter Conor McGregor.
Floyd’s overall record for boxing is at an impressive 50-0 with 27 knockouts.
Mayweather has battled against the greats, with Oscar De La Hoya, Manny Pacquiao and Canelo Alvarez being on his defeated list.
Logan Paul (25) has made a name for himself on Youtube, and currently stands at 0-1 as a professional boxer.
He knocked out NBA Star Nate Paul last month. People were definitely shocked on how quickly Logan punished his opponent.
Logan was the one to call out the boxing legend as he went to Floyd’s camp earlier this year with an offer for a boxing match but Floyd declined.
Logan would then launch a campaign bashing Floyd and saying he could beat the legend:
“If I caught Floyd with one punch-one punch-I would snap this f**ker in half.”
Floyd would respond in November with the following:
The event is scheduled for February 20, 2021 as a Pay-Per-View event on Fanmio. It’s been promoted that the event will cost $24.99 for the first 1 million buyers and increase as the fight date closes in. On February 11th, the price will jump to $69.99.
People might be more excited about this fight then the Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones Jr., match where Logan originally had been on the card.
