Four arrests have been made in the Dr. Dre home burglarizing that followed his hospitalization for an aneurysm on Tuesday, January 5th.
The iconic rapper’s $50 million Brentwood Estate mansion was burglarized mere hours after it was made public that the rapper was hospitalized for an aneurysm.
Around 10 pm on Tuesday night the LAPD was alerted over a potential break-in where Dre’s house was. Several men were spotted “hiking over a hill attempting to enter”, just hours after the rapper was hospitalized. The men were confronted by private security which caused them to flee the location.
Eventually, the LAPD was successful in arresting four individuals. They were detained and taken into custody near Sunset Boulevard and Kenter Avenue. A short pursuit ensued between officers and a white SUV. Once detained the police found a backpack filled with theft equipment such as saws and crowbars.
Dr. Dre suffered an aneurysm on Monday and was immediately transported to the ICU on Tuesday where he quickly began recovery. By Tuesday evening the rapper was able to provide a health update:
